Hyundai RN30 Concept Heralds Upcoming Brand Changes

Hyundai RN30 Concept

If there’s one thing we know for certain about Hyundai, it’s that the designers love to go above and beyond with concept vehicles. The all-new Hyundai RN30 concept made its debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, and its clear the designers went all-in. The new concept is likely a preview of the Hyundai i30N, set to debut next year.

The N performance sub-brand will launch in 2017 with the i30N leading the charge. The Korean automaker brought the RN30 concept to strut its stuff. As well as give us all a teaser of what the new sub-brand will entail.

Under the hood of this sporty model is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that pumps out 379 hp and 333 lb-ft of torque. That power output is comparable to the Mercedes-AMG A45 and is clearly nothing to scoff at.

Former BMW M performance head Albert Biermann is in charge of the N performance sub-brand at Hyundai. The Hyundai i30N will launch with a base brand for the average driver. And a performance version for enthusiasts that have a true need for speed.

We at Wright Hyundai can’t wait for the official release of the performance-driven Hyundai i30N!
