2016 SEMA Show
A partnership between designers can go a long way. And that’s exactly what Hyundai and Gurnade Inc. proved at the 2016 SEMA Show. The two companies teamed up to bring forth the Gurnade Veloster Concept that boasts a look that’s never been seen in the lineup before. The race-ready concept just proves that the SEMA Show brings out the best in every automaker.
The production Hyundai Veloster already boasts an aggressive stance designed to intimidate and rule the road. The standard design grabbed Gurnade Inc.’s interest. And when Hyundai approached them about teaming up for the 2016 SEMA Show, they just couldn’t resist.
“Gurnade has always been drawn to the uniquely aggressive lines of the production Veloster,” said Joshua Cloud, owner of Gurnade, Inc. “So when Hyundai approached us with the opportunity to develop one of their vehicles for SEMA, we didn’t hesitate to create the Gurnade Veloster Concept. It leverages all the strengths of the Veloster and takes it where we always envisioned it could go.”
The Veloster Concept vehicle boasts integrated flares and a front splitter that add to the overall aggressive look. Meanwhile, a custom rear spoiler and three-piece lightweight forged wheels are ready to take the road by force if necessary. Finally, the race-ready look is completed by the racing canards.
Other highlights include Cobra Nogaro racing seats, a front crash bar, and APK Performance cat-back exhaust.
We at Wright Hyundai can’t help but be impressed by the Veloster concept!
