Pittsburgh offers plenty of opportunities to break your regular routine of Netflix on the couch. Go out and explore our wonderful city by taking part in some of these June events in Pittsburgh this year:
Three Rivers Arts Festival
This 10-day event runs from June 1 through June 10 in downtown Pittsburgh. You’ll be able to enjoy delicious food, live entertainment, and lots of art — both visual and performance. Each day, the festival runs from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
There’s nothing more refreshing in the summertime than a sweet, juicy strawberry. Head to Shadyside Presbyterian Church on June 8 for this year’s Strawberry Festival, where you and the family can enjoy a bunch of delicious strawberry treats, as well games, crafts, and more.
The Art of the Brick
Starting on June 16, The Art of the Brick, a famous LEGO exhibit, will be on display at the Carnegie Science Center. But if you can’t make it this June, don’t sweat it — the exhibit will hang around until early 2019.
The Scenery Hill Outdoor Film Series
This is the second annual film series held out in the countryside of Scenery Hill. This free event is held once a month each summer at the North Bethlehem Community Center. June’s movie is The Secret Life of Pets, which will play on Saturday, June 9, at 7:30 p.m.
From all of us at Wright Hyundai, we hope to see you at some of these local events!
