The SUV segment has become even more competitive. Last month, during the New York International Auto Show, Hyundai introduced the all-new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV. Considered the best-selling SUV in the brand’s lineup, there’s no doubt that this new model will continue to be a success.
This newly designed SUV, along with the Santa Fe Diesel model, are just two of the eight new or re-engineered crossovers Hyundai will introduce to the market by 2020.
For the 2019 model year, the Santa Fe has undergone multiple changes. The biggest change, though, is to the model’s nomenclature. The current Santa Fe Sport has been renamed to the Santa Fe, making the current three-row Santa Fe model the Santa Fe XL for the 2019 model year. Hyundai is planning to introduce a new three-row, eight-passenger SUV in the future, which will boast an entirely new name.
The Santa Fe will also see a new look. This is marked by a wider stance and a sculpted, athletic body, which will help it stand out in a crowded segment. Its interior will also change, with new available Hyundai Smart Sense technologies, which include Lane Keeping Assist and Driver Attention Warning.
