The 2017 Hyundai Elantra has shed its old skin and bears a new, stunning looking for the latest model year. The compact car began receiving recognition for its new design almost immediately. From winning major awards to leaving enthusiasts in awe. The new Hyundai Elantra is sportier, more aerodynamic, and more appealing than ever before.

Almost immediately, the Hyundai Elantra’s design took home the 2016 International Design Excellence Bronze. With judges rating each vehicle in categories like design innovation, benefit to society, aesthetics, benefit to the user, and more, the Hyundai Elantra surprised everyone furthermore by taking home the major award.

The Elantra’s award-winning design features the brand’s signature hexagonal grille and offers advanced aerodynamics. Therefore the end result is a lower drag coefficient than the Nissan Leaf and Toyota Corolla Eco.

In addition the new Hyundai Elantra also features a number of available options and packages as well. The most noteworthy is the latest model featureing an optional HID lighting system which moves with the car. The Dynamic Bending Light turns the headlights as your turn the steering wheel, therefore allowing you to see around curves. Combined with High Beam Assist, the Elantra’s lighting is designed for improved safety and to make a statement about the car’s new design.
